Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty Lists Exceptional East Side Estate

Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has listed an incredible East Side of Providence estate. One of the capital city’s finest luxury properties located on a private manicured 2.6-acre lot, 460 Rochambeau Avenue is on the market for an asking price of $7,900,000. Heidi Farmer, Sales Associate, and Ben Scungio, Regional Manager, are representing the seller.

Built in 1915, was designed by Eliezer B Homer for Rhode Island School of Design instructor William Brigham and his wife, Clara. A rare offering, the property is the last privately owned estate on the East Side of Providence. Located on a beautiful private corner lot on Blackstone Boulevard, this magnificent property offers an abundance of living and working spaces, creating many possibilities and solutions for prospective owners. The carriage home and gallery are accessible via separate entrance into the property. The gallery, at over 1,700 square feet, boasts enough space to hold events safely.

Heidi Farmer says, “With today’s demands for a balanced live/workspace, this rare home offers it all – peace and serenity to be found right in the middle of the city.”

Prominent features include a mature tree-lined driveway behind a gate, lush greenery and gardens throughout the grounds, original architectural details, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and three half bathrooms.

“We are proud to bring this unique opportunity to the Providence luxury market,” adds Ben Scungio. “A distinct property such as 460 Rochambeau Avenue deserves the attention a distinct luxury real estate firm can garner. Unprecedented Growth Leads to New Opportunity for Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty

On the heels of the strongest performance in the firm’s history, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty is announcing the expansion of the management team in 2021. Due to the rapid growth of the firm and the expertise of its team, the seven year old company is implementing new management roles and creating opportunities that will steer the business to the next level and secure the position of premiere provider of luxury real estate in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Optimistic for another record-breaking year ahead, the firm is taking steps to build upon past success and structure the company for further advancement. With four new positions and one new office location, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty aims to raise the bar once again.

Proven leaders who helped drive the Narragansett office to a remarkable level of success in 2020, heretofore co-Managers Bridgette Soby and Karen Donnellan have each earned expanded roles within the company. Donnellan will be Regional Manager of all Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty offices south of Providence. With a background in management and sales, Donnellan is charged with oversight of the offices located in East Greenwich, Narragansett, Charlestown, and Watch Hill. Her responsibilities include sales management, transactional expertise, training opportunities, and office growth. Soby has assumed the role of Business Development Manager for the company at large. A decorated real estate veteran, Soby will be responsible for recruiting new talent and identifying merger opportunities, agent development, and supporting the firm’s initiatives for seeking and securing listings.

As Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty prepares to open a new office in Westport, MA in early 2021, Providence Office Manager Benjamin Scungio is expanding his role to Regional Manager of all northern offices. An expert in office growth and management, Scungio turned the young Providence office into a top ten office statewide year over year. Scungio will continue to support Providence, co-manage Barrington in conjuncture with David Coleman, and begin to grow and develop Westport. Scungio will be responsible for the support and guidance of regional agents through transactions and developing appropriate training opportunities. Andrea Crivellaro has been appointed as Regional Operations Manager. In this new role Crivellaro will continue to support the firm as a Business Analyst and Referral Coordinator while supporting the needs of employees and agents in the northern offices.

“2020 gave our firm the perspective we needed”, says Judy Chace, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. “We were able to hone in on the strengths of our team and harness the best qualities of each of these individuals and we look forward to what 2021 will bring us.”

“These new opportunities are a direct result of hard work and incredible talent”, adds Ray Mott, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. “We had a year of rapid growth and the new management positions throughout the company will allow us to take our firm to the next level.
