Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce the sale of 72 Fogland Road for $3,270,000. Fogbottom Farm is situated on nearly five acres of farm coast grounds and includes a c. 1808 Federal style five-bedroom home, a two-bedroom guest house, and barn. The seller was represented by Cherry Arnold, Sales Associate and Allison Oster Dessel, Sales Associate: both of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. According to data available from Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, this is the most expensive home sale in Tiverton since 2013 and one of only four homes ever sold for more than $3M in the municipality. With breathtaking panoramic views of Sakonnet Passage and the Atlantic Ocean, the estate is considered to be one of the crown jewels of South Tiverton and has had just five owners in 200 years.

The sale of Fogbottom Farm is the third significant historical Tiverton property Cherry Arnold has sold in the last three years. 285 Stone Church Road, the William Witridge Estate c. 1770, was sold in November 2020 and 3617 Main Road, the Captain Ely Hammond House c. 1880 was sold in July 2019.
